The list below describes the countless activities at Towne Point Elementary that students can participate in.
Many of these programs are unrestricted and are open to students in multiple grade levels. They are all designed to engage students, to promote collaboration and teamwork and more importantly, they are designed to meet the needs of the whole child.

Afterschool Sports Activities |
The Parks and recreation afterschool program in fee based and Purchase of Care is accepted. The program operates immediately following the end of the school day until 6:00 everyday that school is in session. Please note that this is only an afterschool program. It does not provide care before school starts. The students are given a snack, they complete homework and they participate in recreational activities. Occasionally, the students will take field trips to various places throughout the region. |
Basketball League |
The basketball league is a seasonal activity that allows students in grades 2-4 to engage in an academic support program that is fun. The group meets afterschool 2 days a week for 90 minutes. The students receive academic help for 45 minutes and then they play basketball for 45 minutes. During this program, the students are given a snack.

Girls on the Run |
The Girls on the Run program is part of a national program the brings girls together to bond while increasing their level of physical fitness. After several weeks the students compete in a modified marathon. |
Good News Club |
The Good News Club is run by St. Andrews Lutheran Church. Students volunteer to participate and they have to receive parent approval. The group meets once a week after school and they receive scripture based lessons in addition to their regular school work. |
